Choosing your first digital FM transmitter can become very confusing. Now, if you are using another companies MP3 player, your choices for a digital FM transmitter shrink rapidly. A dock connector is going to be useless. Most of these MP3 players do all of their connections to your PC and their recharging through a USB connector. If you wish to recharge your MP3 player on the fly, you will still need to invest in a separate auto charger. This is one more area where Apple seems to have out maneuvered the competition. You want to get every benefit possible, and since the cost is virtually the same you should choose wisely. You will negate the need for having a second cord dangling around in the car for recharging your Apple device.
